How to keep our shoes clean
Banish odours by sprinkling bicarbonate of soda inside shoes. Shake it out before wearing them, though.
Dry wet shoes by stuffing them with newspaper or kitchen towels and leaving them to air away from direct heat. Never put shoes away unless they are dry.
Clean shoes with a damp cloth and appropriate shoe polish regularly to preserve the leather (or other materials).
Remove white salt marks from leather by wiping with a mild white vinegar solution.
Clean suede shoes with soapy water and a nail brush. Rinse and blot dry. Use a suede brush to lift the pile and keep the shoes free of dust.
